Product Description

This medication is a combination of two hormones: levonorgestrel (a progestin) and ethinyl estradiol (an estrogen). It is used to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, altering the cervical mucus, and changing the uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and for a fertilized egg to attach.

• Effective birth control when taken as directed.

• Regulates menstrual cycles and reduces menstrual cramps.

• May decrease the risk of ovarian cysts and certain cancers.

Dosage

Take one tablet daily at the same time each day for 21 consecutive days, followed by a 7-day pill-free interval. Start the next pack after the 7-day interval. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions.
